CMC's must meet strict certification requirements, hold at least a 4-year degree, have 5 years of supervision, and successfully pass a comprehensive examination on care management.       <image:caption>Caroline began case management for a company in a program called Cancer Care Plus. Caroline found this work highly rewarding. When the company became Medicare certified to admit hospice patients, Caroline was their first hospice nurse. Caroline spent 7 years with this company. Caroline gained additional experience in case management in mental health and additional clinical experience supervising in a skilled rehabilitation facility. From there, Caroline went back into home care as a clinical supervisor.</image:caption>
